Zum Jubiläum wurde in in der Crescenzkirche ein ökumenischer Vespergottesdienst gefeiert. Pfarrer Thomas Catta von Sankt Georg und Pfarrer Stefan Kunz von der Michaelsgemeindeleiteten den Gottesdienst . Die Kirche ist der älteste Bensheimer Kirchenbau. Sie war nach der Michaelskirche, die an der Stelle der heutigen Sankt-Georgs-Kirche stand, und der Vorgängerin der heutigen Hospitalkirche, die dritte Kirche, die in Bensheim errichtet wurde.
